State Senator Anthony Cannella (R-Ceres) was thrilled to surprise his 2016 Woman of the Year at the Saddle Horse Show Parade, publicly recognizing Juli Vieira’s contributions to the community at the announcers stand.
“Juli is a shining light, not only through her work at the Chamber, but all the community support and awareness she creates” said Cannella. “It was a great parade and perfect venue to recognize Juli for all her efforts.”
Juli is a lifelong resident of San Benito County, who spent almost 20 years in the banking industry before transitioning to become the President and CEO of the San Benito Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center in 2014. She has led the Chamber in many successful business community and civic projects and events, including the San Benito County Fair, Chamber booth that she was tasked with just 2 days after starting in her position. Julie has also contributed to her community by serving on several nonprofit boards over the years including United Way of San Benito County, and currently serves on the Hazel Hawkins Hospital Foundation Board, the Hazel Hawkins Hospital Auxiliary and volunteering in several areas of the hospital.
Senator Cannella presented the Senate Resolution to Vieira on Thursday night during the Saddle Horse Show Parade in Hollister.
