Senator Anthony Cannella (R-Ceres) invites District 12 communities to participate in this year’s National Night Out, celebrating 30 years of public safety, community partnerships and citizen participation to promote awareness, safety and neighborhood unity. This year’s National Night Out is scheduled for Tuesday, August 5.
“National Night Out has always reminded me of times when it wasn’t uncommon for a neighborhood to gather together on the front porch and celebrate community unity, friendship and safety, serving as a reminder that your neighbors and public safety officers were always looking out for one another,” said Cannella. “National Night Out is an incredibly important event designed to increase crime prevention awareness, encourage safer neighborhoods, and strengthen collaboration and unity between local law enforcement and the community.”
Representatives from Cannella’s staff will be available at several events to offer assistance to individuals on a variety of different issues, as well as provide child identification kits and other helpful information/resources. For more information about these National Night Out events and what services will be provided, please call (209) 726-5495.
